Thanks to an agreement with Warner Classics we present the titles of the Collection I & II, dedicated to the greatest records of the catalog EMI COLUMBIA and EMI HMV, now owned by the American group.

  • Glossy disc cover with cardboard of the same thickness as the original covers
  • Each LP packed inside white paper envelope with cellofan lined interior
  • It also includes a colour booklet - for each LP - containing articles on artists, the history of recordings and the technical supervision work carried out by Pierre Bolduc
The new series consists of 12 titles chosen by Pierre Bolduc both for their interpretative quality (all reference records) and for their sound quality. Only first-generation tapes are used for high-resolution digitization. Digital masters have already been sent to Pierre Bolduc directly from Abbey Road Studios. The flaws are inherent to the SST in Germany and PB is in constant contact with the cutting engineer who follows the work. So it was decided to cut down not to the usual 30 Herz but to 20 Herz to ensure a deep and correct bass. All test presses are approved by PB before being used for chez Pallas duplication of Lps on 180gr vinyl.
